Join Farrow & Ball and Edgewater Gallery for a painting demo with artist Ellen Granter in Suite 208.
Farrow & Ball’s recent collaboration with the Natural History Museum - whose rare book library holds Werner’s Nomenclature of Colours - resulted in a new colour line, Colour by Nature.
Join us for this rare event to watch Edgewater Gallery artist, Ellen Granter, paint live and bring these colors directly back to their inspired nature and into your home. Colour by Nature isn’t just a celebration of colour, but of our shared respect and curiosity for the natural world.
For this open house event Ellen Granter will be painting live using Farrow & Ball’s new collection, Colour by Nature. With colors like, Duck Green, inspired by the iconic colour of the neck of a mallard, and Ash Gray, a pigment influenced by the breast of a long tailed Hen Titmouse, Granter’s paintings will spring to life and create connections from home to nature, and from inspiration to design!
The event will take place inside the Farrow & Ball showroom in the Boston Design Center. Next door at Edgewater Gallery guests are welcomed into the gallery to view the full featured exhibition of Ellen Granter’s recent collection of nature inspired paintings.
Light refreshments will be served.
