Peter Koepke is the owner and director of the Design Library, located in the Hudson Valley, New York and London. He joined the company in 1990, after fifteen years as a collector and dealer, during which time he created seminal art collections for museums, universities, corporations, and individuals throughout the United States, Europe, Australia, and Japan. Peter now travels extensively in search of coveted collections to expand the Design Library’s archives.
Alexis Audette heads the Beacon Hill brand for the Robert Allen Design Group. She holds a bachelor’s degree in History from Connecticut College, and Master’s degrees in Art Education and Textiles from the University of Texas at Austin and the Rhode Island School of Design respectively. Alexis grew up in a family of art historians, conservators and painters, and began her career as a public school teacher. She credits her family for steeping her in art from an early age, and her students for teaching her to see myriad forms of beauty: ideas and lessons she applies to textile design every day. Alexis lives with her husband and two children in New York City.
A reception and book signing at Beacon Hill, Suite 215, will follow the presentation.
